19 April 2016 i am service receiver. the service received by me was under reverse charge mechanism. service provider has collected s.tax from me but not deposited it to govt. who will be held responsible in such cases

20 April 2016 Service tax liability of service recipient under RCM is independent of liability of service provider. Service recipient will be held accountable for his share of liability even if same has been collected by the service provider.
