14 March 2013 If service provider instead of service receiver pays service tax to the government on reverse charge basis, then what will be consequences? Whether service receiver will have to pay service tax liability additionally or position is ok?

15 March 2013 Yes, wherever the provisions are applicable to the service receiver, he has to make the service tax payment (his portion of liability as per the provisions) even if the service provider paid entire amount on such services.

15 March 2013 Are u sure......? if yes, Are any other options available to Service Receiver besides payment of service tax ?

17 March 2013 With giving regard to ur opinion, i m asking that whether service provider or service receiver can take such excess service tax credit against his future tax liability for avoiding double taxation.
