What is the importance of a revenue stamp in accountancy ?? what are the eligibility to use this stamp on vouchers ??

26 May 2011 Revenue stamps are stamps used to collect taxes and fees. They are issued by Governments, national and local, and by official bodies of various kinds.it is revenue to government. But when you go for any legal matters it is authenticated only when the stamp is properly affixed.
