08 March 2010 Hello Friends,

Please help me out. I have upload Income tax Individual return for the A.y2008-09 But my mistake in computation i have not taken deduction u/s 80C. my computaion which i have upload in that tax is coming to paid. Can i filed REvised return. I have to correct the return and computation . What can i do. please it is urgent. My email Id is : neena2006@rediffmail.com

You can revise the e return. Download the ITR and while filing up the various columns such as name, address, PAN, date of birth etc, click on the column revised return.

If you don't click on the column revised return, while uploading it, it will give an error message, that return already exists.

08 March 2010 if you are filing a belated return, you can't revise it. you can give a clarification to the ITO of your juridiction that you have committed a mistake in the return.
