22 October 2010 Assessee have filled online return of income, but have not signed the return and sent to Banglore even after expiry of 120 days? Is the return valid?

22 October 2010 In AY 2008-09 the assessee was having the option of (1) either filing return on line and submit the copy of ITR V to IT Department duly signed by him or (2) File physical return.
The assessee filed the return physically to IT Department & than submitted online return ignorantly, but as the error was traced ITR V was not submitted to nullify the online return. Is the valid treatment.
