Assessee have filled online return of income, but have not signed the return and sent to Banglore even after expiry of 120 days? Is the return valid?

It is an invalid return. Recourse under section 292B also will not be obtained in view of decided cases.

In AY 2008-09 the assessee was having the option of (1) either filing return on line and submit the copy of ITR V to IT Department duly signed by him or (2) File physical return.
The assessee filed the return physically to IT Department & than submitted online return ignorantly, but as the error was traced ITR V was not submitted to nullify the online return. Is the valid treatment.

If he has a acknowledgement of submission of return. that return will be valid return. I mean physical return.

due to physical return it is a valid return.
