14 October 2018 Dear Sir, I had not filled my ITR for A.Y. 2017-18 till today. and while filling it, site show "Due date for filling ITR under this section is over" . I had not received any notice from department. But I want it for loan purpose. Kindly suggest me section under which I can file my ITR.

14 October 2018 Time barred for filing tax return for Ay 2017-18, for purpose of taking loan you should not file return, if you have income or TDS than you have to File Tax return
Condolence for delays taxpayer has tax refund pending or wish to carry forward his losses and missed the deadline of filing of tax returns, then he can file an application to the Income tax commissioner or the prescribed authority,

15 October 2018 It mean we have to directly file ITR to Commissioner. Is their any penalty for it? Regarding this I meet a CA who suggest me to wait for departmental notice.

27 September 2021 No. First you have to get permission to file ITR from your Jurisdictional ITO. It is called request to condone the late filing of ITR. But in your case, it cannot be applied, as you do not have refund claim !!
