29 November 2013 Is it compulsory to file Service tax return after the service becomes non taxable and the assessee has active service tax number?

29 November 2013 it is necessary to file Service tax return if there is no Service is provided i.e. nil return as penalty will be imposed for non filing of return

30 November 2013 my question is- Service is provided by the assessee but the service has become non-taxable under negative list of service tax and service Tax number is active , is it necessary to file return?

30 November 2013 till the time you hold the service tax registration you have to file service tax. file the return and surrender the service tax registration the service is no more taxable.
