05 June 2010 Dear Sir,
I heared in news that an individual who is not paying any tax shall not be eligible to file ROI. Event its gross receipt exceed the standard limit. Please guide me with relevant supporting is it right or not??

05 June 2010 Conditions for voluntarily filing return of income is governed by section 139(1) of the Income tax Act,1961. Pl read that section in www.incometaxindia.gov.in

05 June 2010 Practically, the Department refuse to accept the Return, If the Return has no tax payment or Refund in short NIL Return. In that, we can file the eREturn. This is my view.
