i have filled the return thru internet for the Assesment year 2008-2009,but forget to fill the return in orignal to income tax department .Now what to do ? What's the penalty

04 June 2009 If you are talking about Assessment Year 2008-09 then the last date of filing of ITR has been expired, and you can not file this ITR now. The ITR filed by you online shall be treated as no return was filed, as you have not filed the hard copy. So, my suggestion is to wait now, and file your ITR only if you said to do so by way of any notice from Income tax office.
