When a Managing Director of a Pvt. company retires, should the same be intimated to the Assessing officer. Is there any prescribed format of the letter. Who should sign this letter.

The appointment and the retirement of Managaing Director in the case of a private company will be governed by the provisions of the Articles of Association of the Company and the terms of employment of the concerned Managing Director and the Company.
There is no such prescribed formate for intimation.
