27 September 2011 Hi to all,

Can any body tell me the responsibility of a company secretary, if he signed the balance sheet and there is difference between his co. and other party accounts..

Second, his responsibility if the co. fails to pay the interest & installment of banks

Third, if any case are continuing in high court or with labour commissioner,,

My question is what the extent of responcibility of CS and how to be safe from this in professional capability..

28 September 2011 well in all the above case i don't feel there is any resposibilty of the company secretary in the above matters

28 September 2011 difference between party account in company books and party book is matter of mere reconciliation rather than any fraud, it may because of any mistake or communication gap between the two company

28 September 2011 in case of nan payment of loan and interest there is liabilty against the director and not against the company secretary
