What is the residential status of a person who dies on 30/4/2012 for A Y 2013-14 who has never went out of India in previous years?

Dear Surendra,
the residential status shall remain Resident. It is immaterial even if the legal representative (under section 159) is non-resident. The logic is simpler you cannot say heaven or hell foreign country!!!
