Please let me know whether the digital signatures are mandatory for efiling of ITR by a partner of a firm.

If the partnership firm is covered under tax audit of section 44AB of the Income tax Act 1961 ,then the return of income of the firm has to be e-filed by affixing the digital signature of the Managing Partner.
