13 June 2016 hi respected guys , I have recently cleared bcom and persuing ca ipc recently I have a client who has a kirana store , he wants to do accounting of their business by me , how can I start accounting with various types of inventory there , and how can file final accounts ....

13 June 2016 you can accounting with inventory or w/o inventory. its your choice. if you want to a/c with inventory its very complected and timing consuming, you can take help of software developer help they can make software with bar code its help you to record sale transaction in real time and you only to make enter the purchases & remaining entry except sale entry.

13 June 2016 if you are about to start accounting of kirana store then you have to maintain many inventories more than 500 items I think. you have to do purchase entry and expense entry and sales entry at the end of the day where total amount collected and bifurcate that sales amount into sales entry by doing this you will be able to do accounting of kirana store.
