01 July 2011 As per the provisions of vat laws which invoice(tax or retail) should be issued for replacing goods under warranty and what value should be shown in the invoice.

Here you can despatch the free supply of goods against warranty just by issuing proper delivery note(Authorised under respective VAT Act)by quoting supporting documents such as original invoice,defect complaints,inspection report,if any,warranty agreement etc. No invoice can be issued against free replacements.
