Can any one please suggest me how to renew Digital Signature Certificate of Class 3. I have got it from TATA.

A DSC is normally valid for 1 or 2 years, after which renewal is required.

If you are a Director in one or more companies, you will have to register online to obtain Director Identification Number (DIN)

First step towards e-filling is acquiring a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), This will be required to all Directors or authorized representatives of any company and professional who will require to sign ROC forms or documents.

The digital signature will be useful not only for ROC e-filing but can be used for varied e-commerce transaction like online e-TDS, ITReturne-filing , e-Tendering, etc.

These certificates are accepted for IFFCO, Northern Railway, MCA21, E-filing, E -tendering etc.

There are basically 3 types of Digital Signature Certificates Class 1, Class 2 & Class 3 each having different level of security.

All the authorized signatories of company under MCA21 require Class 2 Digital Signature Certificate.

Similarly any document filed by CA/CS/CWA & TAX PRACTIONERS under MCA21 require Class 2 Digital Signature Certificate.

Required Documents with Application Form
Note: (1) Attestation to be done by gazzetted officer.
(2) Notarization to be done by Public Notary.
Applicant Verification Documents(any two attested copy required)

Passport size photograph
Passport(Not Expired)
Voter’s ID
Bank Account Details(within latest 3 months)
Driver’s License(Not Expired)
Ration Card
Any Other (Accompanied with attested photocopy of photo ID like PAN card, etc)

Full payment to be made either in cash or DD/cheque in favour of “Shakambaree Traders Pvt. Ltd.” payable at Kolkata.
