For, eg. if we pay 10,000 as rent. the following entries will be passed in the books of accounts.
Rent A/c Dr. 10,000
Input Service Tax Dr.1236
To TDS Payable Cr.1000
To Bank Cr. 10236
TDS payable Dr. 1000
To Bank Cr. 1000
