We were rent pairs Our Company office . every month tds diducted in gross. we will pay rent. but this month our tds parties were asking add sevice tax pay rent. Service tax applicable on rent please clarify .

02 July 2015 Hi! I understand that you want to know whether Service tax is payable on the amount being paid as rent for company office. If so, Yes, service tax is applicable on renting of immovable property (Other than residential dwelling used as residential)
