26 July 2013 A assessee earned income through RENT. he rented his properties for commercial activity. I Want to Know that such assessee have to register in SERVICE TAX and opt certificate, and what is exemption limit of such Receipts if he not want to register himself in SERVICE TAX.
He getting rent from 5 companies, assessee in INDIVIDUAL Capacity.

26 July 2013 If aggregate of gross reciepts from providing service exceeds rs 9 laks then immedieatly get reg and once it reaches rs 10 laks in total service value provided then he needs to pay service tax.

But my situation more complicated because the Tenant also service providers and he want to SERVICE TAX INPUT CREDIT.

Same situation for one more assessee. the assessee is REAL STATE COMPANY and pay service tax to PROFESSIONALS eg. Architecture, Designers, Contractor etc. @ applicable RATE. how he Claim SERVICE TAX INPUT CREDIT. ( he deducted TDS Of Above Parties)

26 July 2013 then its a case of sub renting u need to deduct tds if ur liable to as i mentioned above.
