Rent deduction & home loan benefit in one year

can you please confirm that if an individual take benefit of rent deduction for 10 months under section 80GG for rent paid & 2 months for Home loan together in fy 2010-2011.

yes, you can take, you paid rent for 10 months and taken own house further 2 months
