HiIs it compulsory to register gst if i lease out my comercial property to a company if my turnover is 6 lakh..they demand gst invoice of rent. Pls reply me with detail

If the house property is rent out for shop or office purpose i.e commercial purpose, no Goods and Service Tax (GST) will be levied up to Rs 20 lakhs subject to the condition that Service Provider, Service Receiver and the Property (Which is let out) all are in same state.

No need to get register & pay GST until your turnover cross 20 lakh.
