Whether an assessee is liable to pay income tax if the tenant is depositing the rent in a bank account which is freezed due to a civil case held at court awaiting judgement ?

taxation is not linked to your ability to withdraw the rent from the bank account for your use. Once the rent has accrued and received, there is no escaping the taxability
