11 October 2014 what is the procedure of removal of director under companies act 2013 who is also a promoter. Is there any change required in MOA and AOA

11 October 2014 As per section 169 of the companies act 2013, A company may, by ordinary resolution in general meeting, remove a director, not being a director appointed by the Tribunal under section 242, before the expiry of the period of his office after giving him a reasonable opportunity of being heard.

So simply by passing ordinary resolution shareholders of the company can remove a director.
