Mr.X has received pension income for last 4 years, in current year he got arrears of pension whether relief U/s 89 is applicabe to this pension or not
if no can we file it as current income
do retired employee are eligible for HRA exemption or not
pls advice its urgent

he can get the relief u/s 89(1) DUE TO THIS section for the salary arrear, pension also taxable under salary head.
