Relief u/s 89(1)

09 April 2016 Hi sir,
I had file a income tax return for the a.y 2015-16, in which arrear for last 5 year is received approx.4,00,000/- rupee... And I had calculate the relief u/s 89 for Rs. 32000/- and claimed in incometax return but when I received intimation u/s 143(1) they imposed tax on income 9,00,000/- as total income relating to 2015-16. And I did not received any refund from income tax.

What I do now? Please help.

10 April 2016 Take the help of CA and file revised return. You may not have claimed 89(1) relief properly in the return.
