11 July 2010 is it true that employer or employee contribution is calculated on if salary is 6500.(actual salary is more than 6500)??

11 July 2010 Yes employer is liable to contribute only on 6500/- even if salary is more than Rs.6500/-. It is on employer whether he contributes on total actual salary. But his liability is only to the extent on Rs.6500/-.
