02 July 2021 According to point 6 in the notification if institute cannot take exam due to lockdown then the student will be automatically opted out or students have to opt out but they hve not given the list of centres where they cannot conduct exam. do anyone have idea if institute is going to release the names of centres?

21 July 2025 As per the notification dated July 1, 2021, if an institute is unable to conduct exams due to lockdown or other restrictions, students are typically provided an option to opt out of the examination. However, the specific details regarding the release of examination centres or the process for opting out may vary depending on the respective examination body or institute.

In some cases, examination bodies have released lists of exam centres or cities where exams will be conducted. For instance, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the list of cities for the NEET UG 2021 examination on August 20, 2021. Similarly, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 centres were increased to 828 to accommodate social distancing measures.
