CTC (Cost to Company) usually defines the total cost payable by the company to an employee. Other than Basic, HRA, Conveyance its includes medical reimbursement, LTA, Uniform Charges, Books & Periodical Charges etc.

Cost to Company includes all cost pertaining to an employee and some companies include even gratuity payable and the medical insurance. The purpose is to know the total cost pertaining to an employee.
