Please advise whether the expenses will be disallowed in the following case:
Electricity Exp. paid by employee to Private electricity co Rs. 25000 thru cash, Later on company reimbursed the amount to employee thru cash.

15 September 2012 it will be disallowed u/s 40A(3).
Even if it is reimbursement, the expenses which you are claiming is paid in cash.
