Dear Sir,
Pl tell me slab of turnover for SSI unit to register in Central Excise.
and the valution of previous stock at the day of registration will be provided or not, if yes. then I will submit exciseable stock only or total stock (Exciseable+non-Exciseable).
Pl clarify the above.

The turnover limit is 3 Crore for SSI.
The details of Cenvatable stock is required to be filed with Central Excise department.
You have not clarified that whether your unit manufacture non excisable/ exempeted goods also. If your answer is affirmative, than you have to maintain seperate stock for common inputs right from the point of procurement to their disposal.
