14 June 2013 my friend is interior designer and he opened his office. now he wants to register the firm name. so tell me what is the procedure to registration and under which act this can be registered. what will be the tax consequences after registration.

14 June 2013 there is no specific law for proprietor-ship, so no need to registered.

But you can take service tax registration for the same.

and it will also help you to open bank account.
