1.one of our client need to register their partnership ferm which was established one year back. whats the pocedure, fees and require documents ?

also they wants to get their ferm as PVT LTD. what they can do. are their different procedures for registration as pvt. ltd.

1. Registration of Partnership Firm (after 1 year of establishment)
Is registration mandatory?

Partnership registration is not mandatory, but it is recommended for legal benefits (like suing, opening bank accounts, etc.).
Even if the firm has been running for 1 year unregistered, it can still be registered anytime.
Procedure for Partnership Firm Registration:

Draft Partnership Deed
Include details like partners’ names, capital contribution, profit-sharing ratio, rights and duties, etc.
It should be printed on stamp paper (stamp duty varies by state; approx ₹100-500).
Get the Partnership Deed signed by all partners.
Apply for Registration with the Registrar of Firms (under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932) in the state where the firm operates.
Submit the following documents:
Application for registration (Form 1) signed by all partners
Partnership Deed
Proof of business address
Identity and address proofs of partners
Prescribed registration fee (varies by state, approx ₹500 to ₹2,000)
