16 December 2012 Shall i prepare gift deed of payment made in past.?
And within which date i prepare such deed.?

16 December 2012 Hi,

If gift are made then you better discharge same with gift deed to avoid disputes among family members.

It is generally required to be made before giving gift but you can regularize the same after gifting property also.

Also note you need to pay Stamp duty.

18 December 2012 thank you for your reply. but i want to know the period within which i can prepare gift deed after making payment of such gift amount.

18 December 2012 generally it is to be prepared on or before gifting, however if not then at least before the end of that financial year.
