Registration in more than one office

15 June 2013 namaskar ji,

my client is earlier registered in service tax office with single premise at gujrat as a catering contractor.
now he has closed his work at gujrat and had moved to uttarakhand and now his place of business is in sidcul haridwar,

now since his place of business is in haridwar he had to get registration in jurisdictional office of haridwar. please guide me can he have more than one registration in service tax and o=now what should he do?

15 June 2013 You should registered as a centralized registration. If more than one premises.

15 June 2013 no sir you did'nt get me.
i mean to say he wants to work only in uttarakhand at haridwar ,for this he has to get service tax registration at haridwar and wants to cancel his earlier registration at gujrat.he does not have place of business in gujrat anymore.

also can a person has more than one service tax registraion for diffrent premises.
