03 October 2013 hello experts, I just cleared my IPCC in may,2013. Now tell me it is mandatory to get registered for final till sep.31.

04 October 2013 If you commencing your articleship now means after completion of both groups of IPCC then mandatory to get final registration along with articleship registration. If you already commenced and get articleship registration then you can get final registration on before to applying to your final exams(submition of examination form).

04 October 2013 As there no no such provision or any time limit for CA final registration by ICAI,
You can register for Finals before filling up CA final Examination forms,
i.e before 3 months of CA final Exams..

However, Your Final exam depends upon the articleship registration Date,
At least 2.5 years of artilcship must be completed to write CA finals,

31st Oct,2013 is the last Date for articleship reg. to appear in May,2016 Final Exam term...

I want to clarify that there is no period specified for final registration. You should have a valid final registration number at the time of filing of Final examination form with Institute.

As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.
