20 January 2011 A chartible trusthad been issued registration certificate in the year 1999. Later the said registration certificate was lost, so the charitable trust applied for fresh registration.But the concerned officer of Income Tax rejected the application stating that , the trust has already been registered u/s12Aof I.T.Act. 1961.

But neither the trustee or concerned Income Tax Dept. have details (number) of orginal registration certificate u/s 12A.

So, I want to know , how the details of orginal registration certificate be traced and by which mode ?

Further, is there any icon on Income Tax Dept. website for tracing the said registration certificate details?
