11 February 2011 dear all, as my company has misplaced the service tax registration certificate & not found. Now if we want to get this from department as duplicate registration certificate, what should we do as procedure??
Kindly let me know.

12 February 2011 You may please approach the jurisdictional Assistant/Deputy Commissioner with a request to issue a duplicate copy of Registration copy. You may have to pay appropriate amount for this purpose.
