IS IT NECESSARY TO GET ST-2 SIGNED BY CENTRAL EXCISE OFFICER IN CASE OF CENTRALIZED REGISTRATION?

Dear Anonymous,
When you need to surrender the certificate, the authorities often ask for submission of original signed certificate. It is for this purpose I'd recommend you to have a signed copy of the certificate with you.
