Dear All,
I have converted Partnership Firm into Private Limited Company. Kindly guide me whether i required to apply for New Excise/Service Tax & VAT No or i can continue with old that is allotted to Firm?????

New registration is required to be taken since your status is changed from from Firm to a Company and the both are governed under different authority.
Had the private company been converted into public limited then there you would not have required to get new registration.

Constitution of the company has been changed. you should file new registration.

There is no change in the constitution of the company. There was no company infact.It is changed from Firm to Comapany.

Excise registration should be on PAN based. PAN No. will be changed if you convert your company from pvt. ltd. to partership firm. constitution will be changed.
