Regarding service tax payment

Dear Experts,

One of our service agent, is going to apply for Service tax registration on next month., mean while he gave a invoice (provisional Invoice for bill payment purpose) to us including service tax and he said that after getting service tax registration, he'll provide the ST Regn NO.

In this case shall we pay the Service Tax amount to our service agent.

pls clarify

you don't need to pay service tax if there is no service tax registration on date of payment

03 October 2013 Boss..I have one more doubt

If my rental income exceeds 11 lac per Year.
in that case i should liable to pay Service Tax on renting of Immovable property.

But... if I split that amount around 8 lac as rental income & 3 lac as maintenance on furniture.

in this case am i liable to pay service tax?

Only after getting registered for service tax he can charge the service tax...

No need to pay Service tax...

03 October 2013 There has been many changes in recent years in accordance with service tax on rental income..
The threshold limit is 10,00,000...
