Regarding procedures for joining ca firm as retainer

23 December 2014 Dear friends I have one query regarding Cop ..... I am CA and doing Practice in CA firm. I want to join CA firm as Retainer. Can anyone tell me procedure which i require to follow for registering with ICAI as retainer in firm?

23 December 2014 You dont have to register as RETAINER. There is no any such category of MEMBER in ICAI.
You can be either 01. Full time practice
02. Full time service or 03 Part time practice.
You said you are ding practice in CA firm???????? What is that? Are you a partner or Employee or anything else??? Please clarify.

29 December 2014 that is quite similar to retainership
A typical retainership has a minimum sum assured for a month... over and above that is charged ON CALL basis.
The term is easily understandable in medical profession.
