Regarding procedure for getting donations from nri's

can any one please help me the procedure for applying and receiving donations from NRI's!!! we are government local authority.

10 January 2016 Register under section 80G of income tax so that your donors will get tax benefit.

10 January 2016 but my doubt is to receive donation from NRI's is there any specific registrations required under FCRA? other than 80G?

10 January 2016 No registration is required under FCRA. FCRA registration is applicable for donations from foreign nationals{foreign pass port holders).
