Regarding place of provision rules 2012

21 December 2012 Whether place of provision of service rules ,2012will replace the 'Export of services ,rules 2005 and taxation of services (provided from outside india and received in india ) Rules,2006.

if yes,

Then please specify its applicability date. tell me about the the resources from where i could get sufficient information regarding it.

25 December 2012 Hi Munna,

Yes the Place of Provision of Service Rules will replace the Export and Import Rules wef. 01-07-2012 vide notification no 28/2012-ST dated 20-06-2012.

Refer some good book on Service tax and also read the guidance note issued by CBEC dated 20-06-2012.
