I got my pan card in 2012, and i Never filed ITR as i was unemployed, how can i get a new pan number on my pan card.

03 February 2016 Why do you require a new PAN when having an existing one obtained in the year 2012. It will be sufficient for filing ITRs henceforth, though no ITRs filed earlier. For an individual, only one PAN will be allotted. Having more number of PANs than one is an offence.

for filing of income tax return you can quote the PAN already alloted to you, However having more than one PAN card is offence.
