26 April 2018 Dear Sir,

Please clear our confusion regarding ITC on new transport van.
We have purchased a new transport van for our company and paid GST @ 28% so please confirm us we can take ITC or not.

Please confirm me....

26 April 2018 ITC not available for Vehicles except it's related business activities...

26 April 2018 If you are into the following business lines then only ITC will be available...
a) Supply of other vehicles or conveyances
b) Transportation of passengers
c) Imparting training on driving, flying, navigating such vehicle or conveyances
d) Transportation of goods ( ITC will be allowed on motor vehicles (and other conveyances) used to transport goods from one place to another. However, this is concerning other transporters and not goods transport agencies (GTA) )...

other than above mentioned,, itc will not be available..
