10 October 2011 Well general fund is for specific purpose work like building a hospital, playground etc
where as capital fund is the accumulated funds as contribution by members for the general needs of the organisation.

Donation given as forming part of corpus form part of capital corpus, also the unspent donations also form part of capital funds at future dates
