18 July 2013 Whether Private Company can file IT Return after adoption of Balance Sheet in AGM?

Proposed AGM date : 12-08-13
IT Due date : 30-09-13

but we want to file the IT Return in July -13 itself. Please clarify, whether this move contradict any provisions of IT Act or Companies Act ?

18 July 2013 Yes it can but should not file the Income Tax Return later than 30.09.2013.

19 July 2013 No contradiction. After approval of accounts and after your Tax Audit has completed you can file IT Return be it before AGM or After AGM.

Please not ITR 6 is not available at IT Website as yet. SO you need to wait a little more to file your IT Return.
