Regarding Filing of Income Tax Return of NRI

15 June 2022 Dear Sir/Madam,

Received an inquiry to file return of an NRI having LTCG Income Generated in FY 2021-22 due to sale of flat in India

What documents should be obtained to file his ITR as Autorized Representative in India

he is resident of US

Please help

15 June 2022 Yes, take all the documents which are generally taken from a resident for filing the ITR - PAN, address, Bank Stmnts in India, Property documents etc.

Basically my question is I have to file the return as representative on his behalf not having his aadhar card till date being NRI

Whether there is any Power of Attorney or any other documents required or just formal consent by email will suffice the requirement to file the return

Take E mail confirmation and file ITR as if he is filing.
