Regarding depreciation on assets

11 May 2016 One of my clients had purchased the motorcar in September month but registration was done in October the question of depreciation is from the date of put to use of assets. I need the case law or judgement regarding this point. if any one can help me out??

12 May 2016 I think from purchase date you have to charge depreciation. In case of Manufacturing concern It will depreciate when it use starts.
