Regarding CST

25 April 2008 Dear Sir,

I want to know whether CST is calculated on Basic or Basic+Excise Duty.
In some Bills i found that Basic is calculated on Basic + Excise Duty.

What is the correct Method to charge CST?

25 April 2008 cst is calculated basic+excise+h e cess+s&he cess then cst is charged on the total amount

25 April 2008 But in Tally CST is calculating only on Basic.Shall we have to enter Manually for CST amount in Tally.

25 April 2008 In Tally You should select type of calculation (on current sub total)

CST will be calculated on Basic+Duty+cess+Packing Charges
